Hallett & Perrin congratulates shareholder Ann Marie Cowdrey for her repeat selection by peer lawyers in North Texas to the annual D Magazine “Best Lawyers in Dallas” guide.
The 2026 edition marks Ms. Cowdrey’s 11th year to receive the D Magazine honor for her work in the Corporate Law: Private Equity practice area.
Cowdrey’s practice is concentrated on transactions involving private equity funds with a focus on energy-related investments. She regularly advises institutional limited partners and family offices in making private equity, venture capital, and other alternative investments.
Selection to the annual guide starts with nominations by practicing lawyers in North Texas. D Magazine research staff asks attorneys, "Which local lawyers, of those whose work you have witnessed firsthand, would you rank among the current best?" Nominees are vetted by an anonymous panel of lawyers before final selections are made. The complete “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list is available in the May 2026 issue of D Magazine.
