Ms. Cowdrey’s practice focuses on transactions involving private equity funds. She represents PE sponsors, especially those focused on energy-related investments, in transactions involving the full life cycle of their funds, including fund structuring and formation, fund investments in portfolio companies, and the realization of portfolio investments through M&A transactions and other monetization events.

Given her fluency with market fund terms, Ms. Cowdrey regularly advises institutional limited partners and family offices in making private equity, venture capital, and other alternative investments.

Her practice also includes a significant regulatory compliance component, advising fund sponsors and portfolio companies alike with their registration, reporting and other requirements under applicable securities laws.
