Hallett & Perrin Shareholders Leland C. de la Garza, Monte K. Hurst, and Bruce H. Hallett have been selected to D Magazine’s 2022 list of the Best Lawyers in Dallas.
All three attorneys are celebrating multiple years on the list:
Bruce co-founded Hallett & Perrin (celebrating its 30th anniversary this year) in January 1992 with the objective of combining large law firm corporate finance experience and expertise with boutique firm client service delivery and price structure. He regularly represents publicly held entities and private growth companies, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance, and federal securities regulation compliance.
As the firm’s president and managing shareholder, Leland’s experience cuts across many different industries, including financial institutions, investment funds, insurance agencies, wind energy companies, oil and gas exploration companies, oil field service companies, manufacturing companies, staffing companies, companies involved in construction, and professionals in a variety of fields. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Monte is an experienced and accomplished litigator, focusing his practice on all aspects of employment law and on business litigation. He also counsels management on how to achieve business goals while complying with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, wage and hour laws, and affirmative action obligations.
