Hallett & Perrin is pleased to share that Nikki L. Laing will be a featured presenter at the State Bar of Texas Tax Section’s “2026 Tax Law Bootcamp” symposium on February 6 — one of the state’s premier opportunities to hear substantive updates and practical guidance from leading tax-law professionals.
Nikki will present “When Trust Tweaks Trigger Tax Trouble,” a session designed to help practitioners navigate hidden tax consequences that can arise from common trust modifications.
With experience as a CPA, attorney, and former business owner, Nikki offers a rare blend of technical tax knowledge and real-world perspective. That includes sophisticated estate planning solutions to high-net-worth families, professionals, and entrepreneurs. Her experience includes drafting comprehensive estate plans, guiding fiduciaries through complex estate and trust administrations, and preparing gift tax and estate tax returns. Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Ms. Laing is licensed in both Texas and Arkansas and is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
