Stewart is a 4th-generation Dallas attorney. His diverse practice ranges from resolving business contracts and tort disputes to major family squabbles; family estate and succession planning to securities litigation and intellectual property violations; business divorces to real estate feuds. Currently, Stewart spends much of his time repatriating assets from the Isle of Man.
Stewart also serves as a general counsel to several prominent Texas families, advising and handling a wide variety of unique legal matters. Stewart recently reclaimed the intellectual property rights for Sammy Davis Jr.’s Estate. Several years ago, Stewart recovered a clients’ priceless Picasso painting.
Stewart has tried many cases, both as plaintiff and defendant, in the state and federal courts in Texas, Colorado, California, and New York. Stewart represents some of Dallas’ most prominent citizens, some of the worlds’ largest corporations, and a whole lot of everyday folks who need someone to stand up and fight for them.
Stewart is a keen strategist, draftsman, and diplomat, and he enjoys writing, oral presentations, and providing valuable, honest counsel, often over a hot plate of enchiladas.
