Stewart is a 4th-generation Dallas attorney. His diverse practice ranges from serving as a professional independent trustee, resolving business contracts and tort disputes, major family squabbles; family estate and succession planning; securities litigation and intellectual property violations; business divorces, and real estate feuds.
Stewart also serves as a general counsel, trustee, and executor to several prominent Texas families, advising and handling a wide variety of unique legal matters. Stewart reclaimed the intellectual property rights for Sammy Davis Jr.’s Estate and, several years ago, recovered a clients’ priceless Picasso painting.
Stewart has tried cases, both as plaintiff and defendant, in the state and federal courts of Texas, Colorado, California, and New York. Stewart represents some of Dallas’ most prominent citizens, some of the worlds’ largest corporations, and a whole lot of everyday folks who need someone to stand up and fight for them.
Stewart is a keen strategist, draftsman, and diplomat, and he enjoys writing, oral presentations, and providing valuable, honest counsel, often over a hot plate of enchiladas.
