Michael is an associate in the firm’s litigation group, where he maintains a broad litigation practice with a concentration in business and commercial litigation.  Over the course of his legal career, Michael has advised clients on high-stakes adversary proceedings in bankruptcy courts, class action defense, international fraud recovery, and cybersecurity and privacy issues.  Before joining the firm, Michael spent several years at a leading international law firm, where he focused on cases involving the blockchain and digital assets, such as cryptocurrency and NFTs. 

Michael earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served on the Texas Law Review, was named a Strauss Center Cybersecurity Graduate Fellow, and served as a Dean’s Fellow for the law school’s society program.
