David is a tenacious, effective, and creative advocate who handles complex commercial disputes in courtrooms across the country.  He litigates on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in a diverse range of lawsuits, including fiduciary duty claims, contract fights, business divorces, real estate actions, trade secret misappropriation, and oil and gas disputes.  He represents companies both large and small, their owners, and a wide variety of professionals, including doctors, investors, politicians, bankers, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals.

David prides himself on being a good steward of each client’s business, finances, and future.  He employs honesty, integrity, and candid communication with both his clients and opposing parties, with the goal of securing the most favorable—and most efficient—resolution of every dispute. 

David is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He has handled lawsuits in New York, California, Colorado, Missouri, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. 

David is a graduate of the Baylor University School of Law, where he served as the managing executive editor of the Baylor Law Review, and of Baylor University, where he graduated with honors.

David and his wife, Meghan, live in Dallas with their children, Luke and Maggie.
