Amy is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience handling a wide spectrum of complex litigation matters, including business litigation, Federal qui tam actions, products liability, and litigation impacting the consumer finance industry.
Prior to joining Hallett & Perrin, Amy served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel in Litigation for one of the largest financial institutions in the United States. With her in-house experience, Amy brings a distinctive perspective, pairing a practical, cost-conscious approach with a nuanced understanding of the attorney-client relationship and what clients truly need and value.
Amy is also a classically trained pianist with a master’s degree in music theory and ethnomusicology. She taught several years as an adjunct professor at the University of Arizona. Her music background continues to inform and assist her legal practice, refining her ability to quickly identify patterns and detect subtle nuances and motives —skills she leverages in her litigation strategy.
Outside of her legal practice, Amy continues to play piano and enjoys cooking, watercolor painting, golfing, and woodworking. She is fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Fujian in addition to English.
