Rick is one of the founders of the firm. In his 40 years of state and federal trial practice, he has consistently achieved the results his clients desired.

“But I am most proud of the way those results were achieved. While aggressively protecting my clients, I have always been courteous toward opposing counsel and their clients, and acted in a professional manner throughout the process. Good guys can, indeed, finish first and still preserve the integrity of the profession and the civility and the dignity of the judicial system.”

If the case is not resolved at an early stage, Rick has no hesitation to take it to the forum where he is most comfortable – before a jury. His extensive experience in the defense of clients is focused in the areas of life sciences, products liability, mass torts, general torts, transportation, skilled nursing facilities and commercial disputes. If he is not litigating, he is traveling, golfing, enjoying his five grandchildren or at Texas A&M doing something!
