Jim Henry’s passion is for his clients. Jim believes the best part of being a lawyer is getting to know your clients and using your analytical skills to assist them in overcoming any legal issues they encounter.

His first step is always to work with the client to understand their needs and desires, and then to develop a strategy to achieve those needs and desires. Clients often describe Jim as tenacious, a strategist, analytical, caring, honorable, principled, and a trusted advisor.

Jim has handled a variety of civil litigation matters in federal and state trial courts, as well as mediation and arbitration proceedings, with an emphasis on commercial litigation including contract, tort, and intellectual property matters in the following areas: business torts (litigation involving tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, usurpation of corporate opportunity, conspiracy, unfair competition, and fraud); commercial (contract and Uniform Commercial Code matters); labor (litigation involving confidentiality agreements, non-compete agreements, non-solicitation agreements and non-hire agreements); benefits (ERISA litigation); and intellectual property (handling defense and prosecution of trade secret litigation). This experience also encompasses prosecution and defense of a broad range of extraordinary remedies. Jim also counsels employers and businesses regarding trade secrets, employment agreements, and enforceability of non-competition covenants.

In addition to his practice of law, Jim is a dedicated husband and father and is active in the community.
